What shall we wear?
Simple, plain-coloured clothes tend to work best, as well as clothes with a subtle pattern. It's best to avoid bold stripes and checks as these don't work well in pictures. If you are unsure then please give us a call, and Sarah will be happy to help you plan your outfits.
Do you photoshop the images?
Yes we do; we make them print ready. This means adjusting exposure, cropping if necessary, and other “fixes” to make the photo look good. We do some touch ups automatically, but anything that’s a bigger job, for instance, slimming, extensive blemishes/rashes, etc will require an additional fee.
What is the average spend? How and when do we pay?
Most people tend to spend an average of £300-£400, this does depend on your budget and how you would like your beautiful images presented. We have various methods of payment; we take all major credit/debit cards, BACS transfers and we have a 0% Interest Free option, allowing you to spread the cost of your order over 3,6,9 or 12 Months. Payment is made in full when you place your order unless you are taking out the payment plan.
How long do you keep the images?
We keep the images for 3 months, and once your order is complete we periodically remove completed shoots from our hard drives as we take a lot of portraits and it is not feasible to keep them all. If you do not attend your viewing session we will contact you to let you know when your images will be deleted so that you can contact the studio to arrange another viewing appointment.
Can we order in colour as well as black and white?
All pictures are available in colour and black and white. Sarah will help you with your choice if you find it difficult to decide.
Can we bring along our outfits and props?
Yes, no problem. Feel free to bring along a few different outfits, lingerie or accessories you'd like to include in your session — this will make your images truly personal. If you're not sure what will work best, just ask and Sarah will be happy to advise beforehand.
How long will it take for my order to be completed?
Depending on your choice, the average time is between three and six weeks. Occasionally this will be longer but in special circumstances, we can rush your order through if essential.
I can see the directions on the contact page; can I park nearby?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking nearby, we have one parking space directly outside the studio. If you specifically need a parking space for buggies or disabled access then please let us know at the time of your booking.
