Inspiring Boudoir Shoot for Ms. F

Mrs F said…..

The pre-shoot meeting was excellent. All the information we reviewed helped me feel relaxed and well-prepared. The hair, makeup, and the shoot itself were all amazing! I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. There was nothing negative to say—my entire experience was fantastic, and I felt wonderful. Ms.F

My name is C, and I believe this photoshoot would greatly benefit my mental health and body confidence. I have faced some challenging experiences in my early childhood, which have led to ongoing struggles with severe anxiety. In my teens, I thought I had overcome these issues, but I had merely suppressed them. This resulted in a significant breakdown in my early twenties when I realized that my past struggles had resurfaced with a vengeance.

During this difficult time, I felt utterly miserable. Through counselling, I came to understand that the stress I was experiencing was contributing to several health problems I had been battling, which only made me feel unhappier.

One of my biggest challenges has always been my body image. Growing up in a family where many members were a size 6, I felt increasingly self-conscious as I approached a size 14.

To address this, I started with Slimming World and successfully lost 2 stone, reaching my ideal weight. However, during lockdown, I had to postpone my wedding by a year, and I tragically lost five immediate family members who would not be able to attend.

The grief and stress triggered another anxiety attack, causing me to regress after making significant progress.

I've consistently struggled with my weight, and even though I'm not yet where I want to be, I'm working on appreciating my body as my husband does. I want to recognize its strength in surviving all that I have faced in my life. A photoshoot like this would provide me with a lasting reminder of my worth—something to look back on and remind me that I am amazing, even on days when I don't feel or believe it.

Amazing you have taken the first step, now let us do the rest … Sarah xx
